When I first read this book, I was a little overweight and had "decent" fitness levels. I had been studying health and fitness for a few years and to be honest, I thought I knew about everything there was to know about it.

How I found Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle

When I first came across this book I was very skeptical, like anybody else might be. I'd spent a lot of money trying to figure out the "secrets" of weight loss, maximizing energy, and gaining strength and muscle.

Some of it was helpful, but in the back of my mind I knew there had to be more secrets out there that these people weren't sharing. I kept hearing the same information over and over. Things like "don't eat before you go to bed", "eat frequently", and "eat small meals". I think pretty much everybody knows that by now. Those are pretty much the basic rules for weight loss.

So anyway, I ended up going to the Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle Website and read his sales page. Needless to say, I was impressed. I'm sure you will be too when you take a look. But for $40, was it really worth it?

What Is Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle About

In short, this book is about how to lose weight and build muscle using techniques that I've honestly never heard of before reading this book. It has 17 chapters full of information and has virtually no "fluff" in there at all.

In fact, this book has probably the least amount of "fluff" that I've ever read. It's completely jam packed with information you can use. By the way, it's over 340 pages full of information! In this e-book Tom Venuto explains all and every aspects of nutrition. He teaches how work out your own calories and how to structure your meals.

My Thoughts After Reading The Book

After getting a few e-mails from his 12 week e-course that you can sign up for on his website, I ended up getting the book. After reading the first few chapters, I was absolutely amazed by the knowledge he had on your body and how it works. I'll add one thing that would have been great. I wish he included more pictures in the book - that would have helped a little.

By the time I was done reading the book, I felt like I'd just gone through a full-time college program on nutrition and fitness. I was absolutely amazed, and whenever somebody asks me what book to read first, I always recommend Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle.

Who Can Benefit From This Book?

The great thing about this book is that virtually anybody can benefit from it. Since it's so easy to understand, somebody with no nutritional education can gain immense knowledge on how to lose weight.

People just trying to lose a few pounds will be able to finally get it off. People preparing for fitness contests can get down under 5% body fat by applying his techniques. Simply put, everybody who's trying to lose weight needs to get this book.
